Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance Returns to the Gutter with Bowlathon 2010!
When was the last time you bowled in a pirate costume to live music while raising money for a local non-profit? If it's been a while, like since last July, then it's time to gather the team back together for Terpsicorps' Bowlathon 2010! Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance, Asheville's professional contemporary ballet company, has been holding an annual bowlathon every year since 2004 and it gets bigger and better with each strike! There are prizes for most money raised, best costumes, most points per team, and best individual bowler. Money raised will be going to help fund Terpsicorps' "The Dream Project", coming up August 8-10.

Step One: Sign UP! Click on the register a team lnk and follow the directions.
Step Two: Recruit 4-5 of your friends, coworkers or family members to form a team.
Step Three: Every member on the team needs to forward this link http://bowl.terpsicorps.org/pledge.php in order to acquire pledges. You don't have to ask anyone in person and you can send it out to everyone you know, and we do mean everyone! This is where your supporters will pledge lots of money to your team to help you win the grand prize of dinner for six at a fancy downtown restaurant. They can pledge per point, per strike, and even per gutterball.
Step Four: Last year, the company added a costume element to the mix, so your next task is to come up with a team theme and get ready for the costume challenge!
